St. Louis type Clovis Cast
St. Louis type Clovis Cast
Price:
$22.00
Quantity:
This new cast was molded from the authentic original, on loan in 2011 from the world class Pailler Collection. It was found in Butler County, MO, and is an excellent example of an uncommon variety called the "St. Louis" type of Clovis point. The dates for this spear point would be around 12,000 to 13,000 years ago. This point has beautiful flaking, showing a rare occurance of multiple fluting on both sides of the point. It was made in a black chert, which shows the true Paleo style flaking in great detail. The point is 3 and 3/8th inches long and 1 and 1/2 inches wide. (COA Stermer/Western Typology 2010)
