This recent addition was sent to Occpaleo for casting in September of 2011. The authentic original was made in a very colorful Flint Ridge flint, and measures 76mms by 52mms. It was found in Knox County, Ohio, and is from the Hopewell Culture of the Middle Woodland Period (about 2,000 BP to 300 AD). This beautiful style of point was named from the Snyders Site in Calhoun County, Illinois and it is well known and admired for its unique notching which expands as it goes inward. (ex.
