Magdalenian Scraper Cast

Price: $15.00
This great example was cast from a loan of the wonderful Jerry Sherman collection from Indiana.  The original was made in french flint and measures 1 and 5/8th inches.  It shows a tool that was struck from a well done core, and worked to a scraper edge on both ends.  This type was made during the Magdalenian period of around 10 to 17,000 years ago in Europe.  This fine piece was found near the famous site of La Madeleine, Vezere Valley, in the Dordogne region of France.
