Archaic Flint Drill Cast
Archaic Flint Drill Cast
Price:
$19.00
Quantity:
A cast of an Archaic Period drill from Humphreys County, Tennessee. It measures 2 and 1/8th inches long, and is an excellent example of a drill bit from prehistory. The original was made in Dover chert and shows great symmetrical flaking. It was found by Kit Carson during the 60's, and displayed in a local relic museum for his extensive collection. We searched hard to find an excellent example of drill technology from the East, and the authentic original was purchased in 2015 to be molded and cast for scientific reference. Now, sold as a cast it can serve as a reference for collectors and archaeology students to show the sophistication of prehistoric tools.
